Starting out in the music industry Hensford over the last 24 months has pivoted into a career in fashion and editorial working to highlight black excellence and beauty. Elliot this year has worked alongside the likes of Central Cee, Doechii & Wizkid aswell as shooting covers for Numero , NME & Outlander magazine.

Born and raised in the French Caribbean, Manu Loca is a multidisciplinary creative whose work delves into human expression, capturing emotions, vulnerability, and body language. Informed by her rich cultural heritage, storytelling is central to her practice, often blending an anthropological lens with cinematic visuals. Through her photography and movement-based fashion work, Manu focuses on themes of identity and representation, creating narratives that connect deeply with audiences.

Seye Isikalu is a London-based photographer and filmmaker known for his striking work that celebrates Black beauty, culture, and identity. Born to Nigerian parents and raised in London, his creative vision blends the influences of both cultures, offering a unique perspective that combines personal experience, nostalgia, and social commentary.

 

With a portfolio that includes clients such as Harrods, The British Fashion Council, Billboard, The Hollywood Reporter, A24, The BBC, Puma and Paramount, Seye’s work has garnered recognition across the worlds of fashion, film, and media.

Latvian-born David Gillers brought his creative spirit to London in his early twenties, blending his Slavic heritage with influences from subcultures, anime, and avant-garde fashion. Known for his bold and alluring artistry, David redefines beauty with a subversive touch. This year, he keyed shows for HARRI and LEO PROTHMANN at London Fashion Week, contributed to three stories for Spring Studios’ Ode Magazine, and landed a cover for Love Want featuring supermodel Lulu Wood. David continues to push the boundaries of beauty, making fashion fun, sexy, fierce, and delightfully weird, all while leaving an indelible mark on the industry.

Mari Kuno, born and raised in Nagoya, Japan, discovered her passion for arts and fashion at an early age. At 15, she attended a fashion-focused high school, where she delved into design, sewing, and fashion history, while also exploring the connection between fashion and makeup. After graduation, Mari moved to Tokyo to study makeup and gained industry experience as an assistant. Seeking further growth, she relocated to London in 2018, working on shows and shoots across Europe. In 2023, she signed with Saint Luke Artists, marking a significant milestone in her career. Mari continues to refine her craft and expand her creative journey, contributing to the fashion and beauty industries with her unique vision.

Jacqueline’s first year in the industry has seen a ranged of achievements, know for her inventive and colourful custom wigs her work has been featured in editorials with King Kong, Latest, Glamcult and Metal Magazine. Working with big names in high fashion and commercial such as Mowalola, 1xblue and Lazy Oaf. Employed by artist like Chi, Biig Piig, and Bambii Jacqueline is building a clientele in the music video scene, drawn to her catalogue of wigs and ability to create conceptual looks. September fashion week saw her biggest achievement yet, key hair for Jawara Allaeyen SS25 runway show leading a team of 8 talented stylist! 

Her portfolio includes collaborations with Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Dazed, Vogue, GQ, Bose, Universal Music, Little Simz, and Wizkid. Additionally, her art has been featured in numerous exhibitions across the UK and Europe, solidifying her reputation as a visionary artist.

Amidat also styled hair for Net-a-Porter x The Row’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection, showcasing her ability to elevate minimalist aesthetics with her skillful techniques. Tolu Coker is a British-Nigerian Fashion Designer and Multi-Disciplinary Artist renowned for her innovative approach to fashion and art. Her work delves into identity, culture, and social issues, combining sustainable practices, artisan craftsmanship, and community-driven projects. Tolu Coker’s designs have been worn by icons such as Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Maya Jama and Tems and featured in global publications, including British Vogue, where featured as a cover for the January 2024  Sustainability Trailblazer issue. Her accolades include being a Forbes 30 Under 30 honouree and a BFC NEWGEN 24/25 awardee.

Fashion Designer

Ancuta Sarca is a London-based Romanian designer renowned for her innovative approach to footwear, merging sportswear elements with high fashion. Her designs focus on sustainability and upcycling, often transforming deadstock materials, including surplus sneakers and leathers, into unique, sculptural heels. In 2024, her Fall/Winter collection drew inspiration from cult classics like American Psycho and Fight Club, showcasing bold minimalist designs in a dark, cinematic setting. He has recently released a collection titled ‘People in Soufrière Hills,’ inspired by his hometown of Montserrat, blending his passion for sexy, tailored, quintessential clothing.

He’s the founder of ABOE (A Bit Of Everything) a creative studio dedicated to collaborating with artists & brands through projects and unique experiences, inspiring authenticity and collaboration throughout all their work.

Malix, a London-based sister duo, captivates global audiences with their dynamic fusion of House, Afro Tech, and Latin House. Their electrifying performances have ignited dance floors in cities like London, Paris, Barcelona, Mexico City, and Dubai, gracing iconic venues such as Printworks, KOKO, and Phonox. Through their signature electronic night, Faem e li, they deliver a transcendent experience, blending drum-heavy beats with global percussive sounds. Champions of dance music from the diaspora, Malix hosts a monthly residency on Rinse FM and guest mixes on BBC 1XTRA and NTS. A significant rise in travel allowed Randy to experience diverse global scenes, deepening his understanding of what London lacked. Through Hit You on the Rebound, he curated parties dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences, expanding his vision from London to cities like Paris and Tokyo. His standout achievement was going fully freelance, finding clarity and focus in his work without external distractions. Randy’s year marked a pivotal step in shaping his future while celebrating his present successes.

Courtney J. Bennett is a cinematographer in London, UK. He was born in Derbyshire and grew up in Cambridgeshire before moving to London, where he settled. His filmmaking journey began in 2013 when he first honed his skills by shooting music videos, documentaries, and various passion projects. Courtney has built a diverse portfolio encompassing multiple genres, including TV commercials, fashion films, short films, and music videos. In 2023, he won the Bronze award at the CICILOPE festival for his work on the Music video ‘Dirt in the Diamond’ directed by Renee Osubu. 2024 has been a great year working with some amazing directors and recently signing with WPA agency.

Joseph Taylor is a talented editor known for his distinctive visual storytelling. In 2024, his work continues to shine, with highlights including the dynamic music video for Fe!n, the gripping Fatima film directed by Gabriel Moses, and high-profile campaigns like Nike & Corteiz. He also edited impactful Nike & Ja Morant commercial and captured the Y3 shirt release with Real Madrid, featuring Jude Bellingham. Taylor’s exceptional ability to blend artistry with commercial vision has made him a sought-after collaborator in both music and fashion industries, establishing him as a rising star in filmmaking.

In the past year, Ben Cole has directed approximately 20 music videos, including two films for the legendary Kylie Minogue and his first visual album for Foushee’s Pointy Heights. He also directed a global campaign for Doc Martens and had two of his films selected for the Berlin Commercial Festival and Berlin Music Video Festival. Ben is set to shoot two more music videos before the year concludes and is currently writing two narrative shorts for the upcoming year.

Now co-leading Carbon Pictures alongside Elizabeth Rufai, Abíó̩lá is drawn to inventive narratives and bold genre exploration, that resonate both locally and globally.

Her editorial work includes prominent publications like British Vogue and ELLE. In 2024, she appeared on the cover of Vogue Portugal’s March issue, showcasing her growing prominence in the fashion industry​

Josh is a 21-year-old Edinburgh TV Festival and MOBO Award-nominated actor. He is best known for his role as ‘Tazer’ in Netflix’s hit series SUPACELL, which topped the global streaming charts and holds a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. He also stars as ‘Jaheim’ in BOARDERS on BBC Three and Tubi, earning him award nominations. Josh featured in the critically acclaimed short FESTIVAL OF SLAPS, which won a BIFA and earned a BAFTA nomination. In 2024, they cemented their influence with a series of sold-out boat parties, blending cutting-edge DJ sets with immersive visual experiences, making waves in London’s event scene. Their standout achievement was a high-profile collaboration with Nike, which reimagined the iconic Tech Fleece collection. The capsule, inspired by urban resilience and modern utility, became an instant streetwear staple. With a focus on innovation and cultural connection, Lostboys Channel continues to shape the intersection of music, fashion, and community in exciting, boundary-pushing ways.

As a speaker, he’s been featured on BBC, Channel 4, Wray and Nephew, The Grapevine TV, No Signal, Over The Bridge podcast, and spoken at Soho House. In music, he’s crafted assets for Mahalia, Adekunle Gold, Bru-C, Sainte, and others. 

 

Nicolas-Tyrell has an informed view on music, which spans hip-hop to R&B, to emergent genres like drill, future-sounds, He’s consulted with the likes of Universal, Wray & Nephew and Red Bull helping to solidify brand or artist positioning.

His key takeaway from this transformative period is a testament to his philosophy: trust yourself, approach your work with good intentions, and stay committed. In doing so, Manu believes, everything will unfold exactly as it is meant to.
