For this installment of MOOD SPINS we speak to the fast-rising DJ from South London, Joce Wavy. Joce initially made her impact in the music scene alongside a wave of talented female DJs in 2018 and has not looked back since. As an avid music lover Joce confidently spins records in records in various genres such as Hip-Hop to Afrobeats and Dancehall, Joce has also been able to keep crowds entertained on major stages such as Reading & Leeds festival, Boiler Room, and more. Also, continuing her run of high profile radio appearances on platforms such as Capital Xtra and BBC 1Xtra, she recently announced a weekly show on popular indie radio station No Signal, every Saturday for the next 3 weeks. Along with taking over the DJ scene and inspiring others like herself, Jocewavy is also looking to make an impact as a producer in the near future.

Lil Durk - Internet Sensation is one of my favourite songs of all time.
If you were facing the biggest challenge of your life - what song would you play to see you through?
Probably, Last Call by Kanye West its a song that’s very important to me.
What song would you swipe your card to on the most expensive purchase you ever make?
Drake - Up All Night ft. Nicki Minaj - the lyrics say it all haha
What song would you play the morning of a flight to Miami?
City Girls - City On Lock obviously! You can’t go to Miami without playing City Girls
What song would you play if you just won the trial for a federal case?
First Day Out - Kodak Black (seems quite fitting)
What song would you play if you were halfway through a marathon and didn't have the energy to continue?
Drake - God's Plan, I feel like this is such a feel good song for anyone to listen to for motivation.
What song do you play before meeting your Idol?
Aint it different - Headie One because it would be like, I’m out here meeting my idols now, you know?
What song would you play to close a set in Tokyo in front of 4 thousand people?
Travis Scott - Goosebumps, it's always one I loved to play at festivals back when we were allowed!
